April Ruggiano is a board certified physician assistant. She obtained her Bachelors of Science from Texas State University on an athletic scholarship. After working in healthcare for three years, she decided to earn her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She completed her psychiatric rotation at the Prevention and Recovery Center in Houston, which sparked her desire to pursue a career in psychiatry. When she is not working, April enjoys spending time with her two daughters, playing the piano, and being outdoors.
